These are the Seven Laws of the Run, the sacred tenets that guide every runner on the path. They are not rules to constrain, but principles to liberate. Honor them, and you honor the Way.
Honor the body as a vessel of motion, not perfection. It aches, it strains, it breaks, and through this, it becomes.
Do not mock the breathless, the limping, the unsure. You were once there, and may be again. All who step forward are kin.
Offer encouragement without arrogance, wisdom without judgment, presence without ego.
Respect the terrain beneath you, the air within you, and the people beside you.
Share the struggle and the stillness. Speak of the hard miles. Celebrate every finish, whether first or last.
Run not to prove you are better, but to remember that you are alive.
Know that you are part of something endless. You are a disciple of movement. You are a runner.
