Do not take aid that does not belong to you unless the giver is clearly offering relief.

If you deny the power of consistent training after having called upon it with success, you shall lose all you have gained.

Do not complain about any race, route, or training you need not subject yourself to.

Do not discourage young, old, or beginning runners.

Do not harm animals on your route unless you are defending yourself.

When running in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, end their interference decisively.
