The Congregation circled the Earth

It is done.

The Congregation set out to circle the Earth in thirty-one days. It took 29 days.

On May 29, at 10:02 AM PDT, Ryan Woolfolk logged the activity that carried the total past 24,901 miles. One full equatorial lap of the planet, completed by 455 members of the Congregation across 29 days of continuous effort.

By the numbers

Time on feet: 185d 17h

Activities logged: 4868

Faithful contributors: 455

Average miles per member: 54.7

Average pace: 10:43 per mile

Goal reached: Day 29 of 31

The miles are still coming after the goal has fallen. By the time you read this the total will have grown further. Every run between May 1 and May 31 still counts toward the final tally.

What comes next

The event runs through May 31 at 11:59 PM Pacific. Keep logging. Every mile added now is surplus, and surplus is remembered.

After the month closes, the Ministry will publish a full recap: detailed stats, leaderboards, charts, and the data behind the numbers. Stickers will ship in June per the original terms unless otherwise noted. The Ministry has been known to be most generous.

Until then, the path remains open.

Curre bene.

Let the record show the following members of the Congregation contributed to the first Cult of Running event and first pilgrimage:
